Timp Cave

My sister and her family came down on Saturday and we went up to Mount Timpanogos cave. It was a lot of fun, but a good hike for the little ones. After living here for six years, we finally made the trip up to the caves. We left Addy home with Daddy because there is no railing on the trail and she likes to run and run. We had a great time.

California

We went to California last May over track break. The boys loved Disneyland and the beach. Their favorite ride was California Screamin. Addy loved Sea World. Her favorite was feeding the sting rays. However, she wanted to keep the feeding fish for her souvenir. We had to make her feed the last one to the sting ray. It was a lot of fun at the beach too. We were able to catch the biggest sand crab I have seen. So, that was our big vacation for the year.

GREAT JOB GUYS!!

Jaden earned his Bear in the Scouting Program in June. It has been a busy few months. He now can look forward to scout camp as a Webelo.

Jaden and Ryan were award the Soaring Eagle award from their school. Jaden was the only one from his class of 27 to earn the award. He had to complete 15 things from the list of 20. Some of the things he did was an report on the Transcontinental Railroad, a science experience on salt water, and he memorized his math facts in division and multiplication. Ryan earned his by memorizing his math facts 0-12 in both addition and subtraction, doing a report on a crested gecko, and he also did a science experiment on Light Pollution. It was a lot of work, but well worth it.

March 2009-Track Break

I took the kids up to the Natural History Museum. They had a lot of fun trying to make the biggest earthquake. Jaden was the winner. Just one of the things we got to do over our last break.

March 2009

We have had a busy March! My sister's daughter, Kaitlyn, came and stayed in Utah for two weeks. Addy had so much fun having a little girl to play with. She is usually around her brothers and their friends. We did about everything you could do in Utah over those two weeks. We also made a trip to Idaho Falls to see Christiam baptized. It was really fun. Addy and the Boys enjoyed staying in the hotel and swimming with their cousins.
